MISSION MINISTRIES, INC.

STATEMENT OF DOCTRINE

Mission Ministries, Inc. is a ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our doctrine is based solely on the Holy Bible. We
recognize the Holy Bible as the absolute Word of God (II Timothy 3:16-17). We consider any other writing, doctrine,
or teaching to be supportive at best, speculation, or possibly in error.

     Basic Doctrine:
     I.     Salvation – we believe that salvation (saving sinners from the wrath of God) can come only through Jesus Christ,
the Son of God. We believe that every person has been given by God the option to receive Jesus Christ as their
personal Lord and Savior (John 3:3, 7; 14:6; Philippians 2:12).

II.    Eternal Salvation – we believe that every born-again Christian has eternal salvation. However, we believe that if a
born-again Christian chooses to reject Jesus as Lord and return to the world they are in danger of eternal
            damnation (Hebrews 6:4-6; 10:26-29; II Peter 2:20-21).

III.   Predestination – we believe that every person is predestined by God to be a born again Christian. We believe that
each person has the free will choice as to whether or not to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
            (Mark 16:15-16; John 3:16; Romans 10:13; I Timothy 2:4; II Timothy 1:9).

IV.   Water Baptism – we believe that every born-again Christian should be baptized in water as a public statement of
their acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38). However, we do not believe
that water baptism is a prerequisite for salvation (Luke 23:42-43; Romans 10:9-10, 13).

     V.    The Baptism in the Holy Spirit – we believe that being baptized in the Holy Spirit can be an “after salvation”
experience (Acts 1:5; 10:44-46; 19:1-7). We encourage every born-again Christian to seek and receive the
Baptism in the Holy Spirit. We believe that speaking in new tongues is part of the experience of being baptized in
            the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:1-4)

VI.   The Gifts of the Holy Spirit – we believe the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to Spirit-filled Christians as the
Holy Spirit chooses and directs. We believe that each Spirit-filled Christian is a candidate to be used in any of the
nine gifts as the Holy Spirit directs (I Corinthians 12:4-11).

VII.  Speaking in Tongues – we believe that Spirit-filled Christians can speak in tongues (their heavenly prayer
language) at will. We believe that speaking in tongues helps to edify and build the faith of the Christian
            (I Corinthians 14:4a; Jude Vs. 20).

VIII. Sanctity of Life – we believe that life begins in the womb at conception (Jeremiah 1:5; Luke 1:31, 36).

IX.   Marriage – we believe that God instituted marriage (Genesis 2:24). We believe that Holy Matrimony is exclusively
the marriage of one man to one woman (Matthew 19:4-6).

     X.    Fornication – we believe that fornication is any sexual act done other than between one man and one woman who
are married. We believe that any form of fornication is sin (I Corinthians 6:18; I Thessalonians 4:3).

XI.   Homosexuality – we believe that homosexuality is a sin (Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:24-27).

XII.  The Ten Commandments – we believe The Ten Commandments are relevant and applicable to all born-again
            Christians (Deuteronomy 5:6-21; Matthew 19:16-19; John 14:15).

XIII. Tithes and Offerings – we believe the tithe is holy and belongs to the Lord (Leviticus 27:30; Malachi 3:7-11).
We believe that offerings are free will gifts given in addition to the tithe (Luke 6:38; II Corinthians 9:6-8).

XIV. Healing – we believe in anointing the sick with oil and praying the prayer of faith for healing – physical, mental,
and emotional (Mark 6:12-13; 16:18b; James 5:14-16). Also, we believe in praying over prayer cloths and sending
them to the sick (Acts 19:11-12).

XV.  Deliverance – we believe in casting devils out of people. We believe that Spirit-filled Christians are commissioned
by the Lord to cast out devils (Mark 6:12-13; 16:17).

XVI. The Feasts of the Lord – we believe in recognizing and celebrating the three major feasts of the Lord
             (Leviticus 23:1-44; I Corinthians 5:8).

XVII. The Five-Fold Ministry – we believe the five-fold ministry to be applicable, relevant, and functioning in the church
              today (Ephesians 4:11-12).

XVIII. The Rapture – we believe there will be a physical rapture (taking up) of all Christians, both dead and living at the
              end of the age (Matthew 24:30-31; I Corinthians 15:51-52; I Thessalonians 4:16-17).

XIX.  Holy Communion – we believe in the taking of Holy Communion regularly as a remembrance of the sacrifice
Jesus Christ made on the cross by giving His body and shedding His blood for our atonement
(Matthew 26:26-28). We believe Holy Communion should never be taken in an unworthy manner
             (I Corinthians 11:23-28).

XX.   The Body of Christ – we believe that Christians collectively make up what is referred to as “the body of Christ”
here on earth. As a united “body” Christians represent Jesus and continue His work here on earth until His return
              (I Corinthians 12:12-27).

XXI.  The Local Church – we believe the local church to be applicable and relevant to Christians today
             (I Corinthians 12:28; Hebrews 10:24-25).
